ABOUT THE CHILDCARE DIRECTORY

Included in this directory are full- and part-time licensed childcare centers. Licensed childcare facilities are those facilities that possess a current license, issued by the Department of Health & Social Services Child Care Program Office (CCPO) or the Municipality of Anchorage Child and Adult Care Program (CAC), to operate a childcare facility in the State of Alaska.

The search results found in this directory will give you the name of the facility, contact information, ages served and the days and hours available.

Some of these licensed centers have also been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and/or the National AfterSchool Association (NAA).

If you have any questions about this directory, please email info@alaskababymag.com.

**AlaskaBabyMag.com does not license, endorse or recommend any particular provider, nor can we assure that any program gives quality childcare. The fact that a facility has obtained a license does not guarantee that the facility will, at all times, be a safe, healthy and quality place for your children. We recommend that you, the parent, seek as much information about the provider as you can in order to choose childcare that best meets your family's needs. We do not warrant the accuracy of provider listings on this site. However we do strive to keep listings accurate.
